Rick Neugebauer, Agriculture
Rick graduated from Chico State and began teaching in Livingston in 1996. He moved to McArthur in 2000 with wife Theresa, children Jessica, Jon and Jace. He is currently agriculture instructor and FFA advisor for the McArthur FFA Chapter at FRHS. He teaches woodshop, agriculture mechanics, public speaking and advanced agriculture leadership. Rick loves spending time with his 3 grandsons Hank, Mack and Nash and spends spare time raising show pigs and show cattle.
Ellen Van Noy, Agriculture
Ellen hails from Grass Valley, CA where her love and passion for the agricultural industry began while enrolled in her chapter’s FFA program at Nevada Union High School. After graduating high school, Ellen spent a year representing the California FFA Association and it’s 89,000 members as the State FFA Reporter. Following her year of service, she continued her education at California State University, Chico earning her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business with a specialization in animal science and her Agricultural Education Credential. She spent her student teaching under the direction of her mentors at Saint Helena High School in the Napa Valley and is excited to now be teaching at Fall River Jr./Sr. High School. She teaches Ag Science I & II, 8th Grade Ag Skills, Food Science, and Floral. Ellen is eager to share her love and knowledge for the agricultural industry with the students of Fall River and instill in them the values and traditions that are rooted in its history.
