Burney Elementary Food Pantry! We all hit a tight spot sometimes — and that’s okay! The BES Food Pantry is here to help our families when the pantry gets a little low. 🥫🍎 If your family could use a little extra support, give Community Connect Coordinator Amber Estes a call at 530-780-6211. No judgment, just kindness and community. 💛

Every Child Matters Day, also known as Orange Shirt Day, is observed on September 30 to honor Indigenous children who were taken from their families and forced to attend residential and boarding schools, many of whom suffered neglect, abuse, and cultural erasure, and thousands never returned home. The phrase “Every Child Matters” serves as a commitment to remember those children, support survivors, and emphasize the rights and dignity of every Indigenous child.
Thank you Renee Gemmill and Irvin Jim for coming and sharing about Every Child Matters Day and sharing a beautiful song with Mr. Moua's class.

Fifth Grade Impact Hour~ BES Impact Hour is a time to grow together—building teamwork, practicing sportsmanship, and strengthening our bodies and minds through physical activity. It’s about collaboration, respect, and learning the power of playing as a team.
