Parents and Grandparents~ At Burney Elementary, we believe school and home work best as a team! This holiday season, we’re focusing on gratitude — emphasizing using our manners, saying “please,” “thank you,” and “you are welcome,” greeting others pleasantly, offering to help others, showing respect in words and actions and identifying things in our lives we are grateful for. When students see these habits practiced and encouraged both at school and at home, it really sticks! Thank you for being our partners in helping our children continue to grow to be kind, respectful individuals.
