IN THE CLASSROOM!
Mrs. Dobson's Math 7 classes participated in a project called "The Volume Zoo!"
It is a hands-on animal design and measurement project that allows students to explore volume. They measured the volume and measurement of each box used and then were able to determine the total volume of their animal.
Student's animals are now on display in the Skuce Family Student Center. Great job!

This summer, Fall River High School students in the Upward Bound Program took learning beyond the classroom — from the redwoods of Cal Poly Humboldt to the historic landmarks of Washington, D.C.!
At Cal Poly Humboldt, students toured the campus, explored the coastline, and even visited the iconic Trees of Mystery. In D.C., they experienced powerful moments at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, U.S. Capitol, Holocaust Museum, National Museum of African American History and Culture, Smithsonian Museums, and the National Zoo.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this trip possible and special shout outs to FRHS Upward Bound advisor Maria Mercado and assistant (and FRHS Alumni) Giselle Rodriguez!

There are several forms that we will need turned in for students to get their lockers and to get their Chromebooks on the first day of school, so don't wait! We encourage students to turn in all the necessary paperwork BEFORE the first day of school.
