Our UB & ETS students had an incredible opportunity to visit UNR, Lake Tahoe Community College, and Sacramento State! Over the course of three days, students explored campuses, attended admissions presentations, connected with staff, and experienced what college life is really like. From walking through lecture halls to learning about academic programs and campus resources, students gained valuable insight into their future options.
One of the biggest highlights of the trip was attending a River Cats baseball game, where students also participated in a special career panel. They had the chance to hear directly from professionals about their career journeys, the challenges they overcame, and the steps they took to get where they are today.
Experiences like this are what Upward Bound and Educational Talent Search are all about—helping students build confidence, explore college and career pathways, and take meaningful steps toward their goals after high school.
Thank you to all the UB/ETS staff and advisors for this incredible opportunity for our students!
