Come on out and support our runners and all the visiting schools at our home cross country meet on Wednesday, September 24th beginning at 2:00 pm
The Dr. Bill Brown Classic was renamed in 2019 to honor Dr. Brown, a local eye doctor who coached cross country at Fall River High School between 1998 and 2017. Dr. Brown still follows FRHS athletics avidly, even though he lives out of the area. We are honored to recognize Dr. Bill Brown every year!

OCTOBER BREAKFAST AND LUNCH MENU

OUT OF THE CLASSROOM!
Mrs. Balistreri's 7th Grade Health Quest class took a field trip to the local McArthur Mini Mart, to visit with owners Steve and Lori about healthy snack options!
They had prepared samples for students of items they make in their kitchen, and spoke about how they bake all their food items instead of frying. Then students looked at food comparisons - noticing the difference between a Snickers bar and a granola bar, as well as energy drinks versus probiotic drinks. Specifically highlighting the amount of sugar is each!
This aligned with what the students are currently learning in their Health Quest class, examining nutrition labels and discussion of healthy eating habits.
Thank you Steve and Lori and Mrs. Balistreri for a fun, interactive outing for our Health Quest students!
