Thank you so much staff and students at FRE for an amazing day where high school students attended Camp Read S'more! Students were in classrooms, on the playground and helping with crafts as the Bullpups completed their reading goal, and even helped make a "s'more" out of Mrs. Knoch!

2 - 5: Congratulations to all our State Qualifiers! Both Novice and Advanced Parli Pro teams will move on, as well as Yisel Morales Guzman (1st in El Credo - Blue Division), Marianna Hiser (3rd for Job Interview) and Rayna Roark (4th for Impromptu Public Speaking)! As FFA Members prepare to head to the CA State Conference this week, these members will keep preparing and practicing for the State Speaking Competitions in April. Good Luck to all!
6: National FFA Week was a blast of activities and agriculture outreach, capped off by the famous assembly! Great job to the Agriculture Leadership Team and Advisors for putting it altogether!

Fall River High School students had the opportunity to attend the Rural Student Voice Conference, hosted by the North State Student Ambassadors of Chico State University.
This event was designed to empower rural youth, provide a platform for their perspectives, and strengthen connections between the university and regional, rural communities. Students also met with Assembly Member Heather Hadwick.

FRHS Seniors, Jaylee Vculek, AJ Lutzenberger, Rennee Wilson and Ruby Ferrer Montoya, were selected to attend the conference with Mrs. Fry, District Counselor, and Maria Mercado, Upward Bound.
Great job representing FRHS and our Rural Voice!

Student Council members met with Program Director, Onica Mello, from North State Together as well as Henry Whitehead from Rural Schools Collaborative, to take a tour of FRHS and visit with students about our school, community and programs.
In our fourth year in the GRAD Partnership grant, we are so thankful for the continued support from NST and RSC!

Congrats to Lauren Giessner and Caoimhe Biehle for advancing in the process of over fifty applicants to become a Superior Region Officer! Lauren (current McArthur FFA Secretary) was slated to campaign for her spot as Intermountain Vice President and Caoimhe (current McArthur FFA President) was slated to compete for Secretary.
Congrats to our Farm Power Team consisting of JD Bucher, Hunter Bruning, Ethan Giessner, Baylon Norris, Rex Reynier, and Rylan Roark for their dedication and determination. The team placed 12th overall out of over forty teams in Arbuckle and 4th overall at the Colusa Redhawk contest. At the Chico State Field Day, Farm Power placed 4th amongst teams from across the State!
A big thank you to Norris Construction for providing equipment for the boys to practice. We appreciate your investment in our students and our program!

On Monday, February 23rd, we will be starting our Every Day Counts - Bulldog Attendance Program!
Every student with a complete week of attendance will receive:
- A goody/snack bag
- A ticket to be entered into the weekly Bulldog Bite Gift Card drawing
- A ticket to be entered into the end of the year Grand Prize drawing (the more complete weeks you have the more chances to win!)
A complete week consists of a student being present and on time ALL week!
Every day. All periods. No tardies.
The only excused absence is a school activity.
